Reapproach of Nature / Inventive Projects

TAF is pleased to present the exhibition Ecophenomena which opens on Thursday, June 21st and will run until September 22nd, 2012.

The exhibition Ecophenomena underlines a new form of social sustainability creating the conditions for coexistence and dialogue between selected creators, groups and technicians that explore a new, inventive, at the same time ecological way of living. Participants from different areas compose targeted proposals for a wide range of basic human needs, from nutrition to housing. Diverse proposals such building with the use of natural materials and self-managing household energy are being presented together with installations by architects and graphic designers in an effort to urge our daily life towards a more ecological direction.

At the same time, the exhibition attempts to create a platform of actions and exchange of concerns with the current urban daily life as a starting point, using as vehicle imagination, respect, coexistence and transgression. The exhibition Ecophenomena aims to intensify the environmental conscience of the audience though a concrete chain of proposals that respond to key issues of contemporary lifestyles.

In TAF’s ten rooms, radical and sensitive ideas and structures are assembled together to emphasize the mind frame of the participants for the re-approaching of nature, society and creation. The exhibition presents an assembly of imaginative projects that reflect on modernity, draw elements from tradition and promote suggestions for managing our present and our future.
